Scott Moore

Lead Pastor

Scott comes to Broken Arrow from Fort Scott Kansas where he pastored for 11 years. He grew up in Huntsville Texas where he met his wife Crickett. They were married December 29, 1989 in Marshall Texas. They have one child Caleb Moore, who attends Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego California.

Scott is a Graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary. He has had experience in congregations of all sizes as both as associate pastor and as lead pastor in Illinois, Texas, Colorado and Kansas. Since 2004, Scott has served as the Lead Pastor at Fort Scott Nazarene.

Scott loves the outdoors riding his motorcycle and bicycle and spending time with his Britney hunting quail and pheasant. He love spending time with his family doing a variety of things.

Scott is committed to living a life of Faith, Hope and Love, realizing we all have a lot to over come but knowing that through Jesus all things are possible. Please don't hesitate to contact him if you have any questions or if you just want to enjoy a good conversation.


James Peterson

Worship Arts Pastor

James grew up at Broken Arrow Nazarene, and after sensing a call to full time ministry at NYC '99 in Toronto, began to pursue this calling at Southen Nazarene University. After graduating with a B.S in Theology and Ministry, James returned to Broken Arrow Nazarene, where he has served in volunteer ministry and administration, and is now our full time Worship Arts Pastor. James was ordained as a Deacon in the Church of the Nazarene in June of 2012 at the Northeast Oklahoma District Assembly.

James married his wife Ashton in December of 2012, and they couldn't be happier!

James is excited about leading others into the presence of God through music, technology, and the arts, and loves helping others explore their gifts and talents in order to find their own sense of calling.

James enjoys all kinds of music, Movies, TV shows, books, and computers, as well as sports, food, and, cars.

Eric O'Neal

Pastor to Children and Youth

Originally from Kentucky, Eric graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a B.A. in Theology and a minor in music. Eric served in music and youth ministry in Chandler Oklahoma, Anchorage, Alaska, and Kansas City, MO before moving to Broken Arrow. While in Kansas City, Eric began attending Nazarene Theological Seminary in pursuit of his Master's of Divinity. Eric joined Broken Arrow in 2015 as Youth and Children's Pastor.

Eric met his wife, Stephanie, in a snowball fight on the campus of SNU in 2006 and they were married in 2010. Stephanie is a professional counselor, specializing in children's counseling. Eric and Stephanie enjoy spending time with family, reading, and gardening. Eric loves playing guitar, ping-pong, and disc golf.

Eric is passionate about leading children and youth to discover God. And, he desires to disciple the families in our community to grow closer to God and one another.


Arturo Amaro

Hispanic Ministry Lay Pastor

Arturo is the newest member of our pastoral staff. He joined us in the fall of 2014. Arturo is a lay minister with gifts and passions for evangelism and church planting. He planted four churches in the Dallas area before joining us. Arturo’s desire is to minister to the Hispanic communities in Broken Arrow and Bixby.
